Adastria and Cafe Company!
Company to be called "Peoples Inc."
Cafe Company Inc.（Main Office: 5-27-8 Meiji-Jingu Mae, Shibuya, Managing Director, Shujiro Kusumoto）and Adastria Inc.（Main Office: 1-9-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda, Tokyo、CEO：Michio Fukuda）have established a joint venture company called "Peoples Inc" which will encompass the joint management of the WIRED CAFE and the WIRED KITCHEN brands. Details below.
1. Reasons for Establishing Peoples Inc.
Cafe Company's aim is to "help foster a new kind of lifestyle by creating café style environments, and to actively exist as an community style company." In this process, they have created WIRED CAFE, WIRED KITCHEN, and 65 other brands amassing a total of 104 locations within and without Japan.
With its mission "to spread the happiness that fashion creates to people around the world, to developed a multi-brand strategy globally, and continue to bring new solutions to the needs of all of our customers" in mind, Adastria has established GLOBAL WORK, LOWRY'S FARM and 17 other major brands. They have over 1300 stores in total domestically and internationally.
With this new joint company, both companies are aiming to push their strengths to the limit and become the "leading company in lifestyle 'distribution'." They will not only approach things from the vantage point of fashion or food services, but also introduce new values and culture while providing customers with a rich lifestyle and valuable experiences.
